MERON x NOGALES CUPPING SESSION 

Our recent cupping event, hosted in collaboration with coffee producer Oscar Hernandez from Finca Nogales, brought together coffee lovers, professionals, and curious minds for a truly inspiring experience.

We cupped 17 coffees across their four categories: Grand Reserve, Echilibrum, Alchemy, and Eccentric. Afterward, Oscar brewed some of the coffees from the cupping table. Around 40 people from the specialty coffee industry, including friends, colleagues, and coffee geeks, joined us to explore his story and experience his exceptional coffees.

Oscar Hernandez is the visionary behind Finca Nogales, a farm located in the Huila region of Colombia. Known for its innovative and sustainable practices, the farm focuses on experimental processing methods and meticulous quality control, making it one of the standout producers in the specialty coffee world.

During the cupping, guests had the unique opportunity to taste a curated selection of coffees directly from Finca Nogales, while also gaining insight into the journey of each bean: from farm to cup. Oscar shared details about the microclimate of his region, the fermentation and drying processes he uses, and the challenges and joys of growing high-quality coffee.

This is one of those once-in-a-lifetime opportunities, and we’re grateful to have the chance to offer them to the community.
