Meron x Sloane Coffee: A Cocktail Evening

Imagine that you bring together the representative of Romania at the World Spirits Championship, championship cocktails, the Meron community, and a noble cause – about this was our Tuesday evening.

 

During the World of Coffee in Copenhagen last month, we met with the Sloane Coffee team. While discussing Traian’s preparations for the Championship, an idea emerged: to create something cool together. From that spark, it was only a matter of time before we put togehter our a cocktail event.

 

The cocktails we had on the bar:

 

• Lavish

Carrot syrup – acetic acidity, unique carrot sweetness

1800 tequila – lime, agave, caramel

Italicus – citric acidity, bergamot

Osmanthus syrup – jasmine, apricot, plum

Colombia Nestor Lasso Ombligon – violets, blueberry, black currant, cherry, strawberry

 

• Roots in the night 

Spinach water syrup – umami, floral

Mango & Pineapple syrup – malic acidity, tropical

Lavender coldbrew – floral, lavender

Don Julio Anejo tequila – caramel, lime, grapefruit

Lillet rose – orange blossom, grapefruit

Colombia Nestor Lasso Ombligon – violets, blueberry, black currant, cherry, strawberry

 

The event was charitable, and all the proceeds from the purchases were donated to Asociația Păsări.
